Photography

Deep moody black and white is my preference.

It reminds me of when I first saw To Kill a Mockingbird at maybe 5 or 6 and how the cinematography made me feel.

I remember most vividly a scene when Boo Radley saves the kids from someone evil. The long scene of following, a kind of slow motion chase.

Dappled light on the ground and the sound of wind and autumn leaves, only partially showing human figures. The tree trunks and the figures winding through them. It's ominous but somehow triumphant and hopeful too. You know good - in the form where it wasn't expected - is going to prevail.

But I can shoot color too. Sometimes I like it fine. Some subjects demand it. Even sing with it.
